NEW LOCATION FOR TOWNSHIP DROP BOX...relocated to the 24 Mile Road exit from the Municipal Building. Residents are now able to pull directly up to the box as they are exiting the Township grounds.
FYI..per the Road Commission of Macomb County:

Emerald Ash Borer Information
All Ash trees in Shelby Township will likely become afflicted with the Emerald Ash Borer. Landowners and Residents are urged to plan ahead for the removal of their Ash trees. There are no government programs available to help with the cost of this tree cutting and removal work.

The service to pay water and sewer bills by way of credit card is provided by a third party company named Official Payments Corporation. This independent third part will charge the water customer a fee to use its services. Water/sewer bills will remain the responsibility of the water/sewer customer until payment is received from Official Payments Corporation.
Overflow or Backup of Water or Sewer System?
If you experience an overflow or backup of a sewage water disposal system or stormwater system, please contact the Charter Township of Shelby Department of Public Works immediately at (586) 731-5990. After business hours contact the Shelby Township Police Department at (586) 731-2121.
You must file a written claim with the DPW within forty-five (45) days after the overflow or backup was discovered. To receive a Notice of Claim form, contact the Shelby Township Department of Public Works at (586) 731-5990, or by mail at 6333 23 Mile Road, Shelby Township, MI 48316.
