The water main that was damaged near 24 Mile and Schoenherr roads Nov. 16 has been repaired. There is NO boil water advisory. The break impacted a small number of homes and staff from the Shelby Township Department of Public Works contacted all affected properties.

More than six dozen people were crushed to death as they scrambled to flee the second floor of the Italian Hall after someone had cried “Fire” at the top of the stairs. There was no fire, but the tragedy permanently scarred the region’s psyche. Was the cause of “Fire” a tragic error or a deliberate action designed to cause chaos?
