The water main that was damaged near 24 Mile and Schoenherr roads Nov. 16 has been repaired. There is NO boil water advisory. The break impacted a small number of homes and staff from the Shelby Township Department of Public Works contacted all affected properties.
The Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit is the second oldest continuously operating parish in the United States. Founded in 1701, it has breathtaking stained glass and soaring ceilings. The lunch bunch trip will tour the basilica and learn about the parish’s history. After, we’ll enjoy lunch at Firenze’s Restaurant. Lunch includes rolls, salad or soup, beverage, and chicken, fish, or lasagna. The cost of $25 includes the tour fee, bus and lunch.
