Yard waste consists of leaves, lawn cuttings, shrubs and tree trimmings. Place into paper biodegradable bags or labeled containers up to 35 gallons in size. We enforce a weight limit of 50 pounds. Brush and limbs greater than 2 inches in diameter must be in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length, and not exceeding a total of 18 inches in diameter or more than 50 pounds. Dirt, sod, large stumps, sand, gravel, concrete, rocks, animal feces and dead animals do not qualify as yard waste.

For 2021, yard waste collection begins March 29 and ends Dec. 10.
