The water main that was damaged near 24 Mile and Schoenherr roads Nov. 16 has been repaired. There is NO boil water advisory. The break impacted a small number of homes and staff from the Shelby Township Department of Public Works contacted all affected properties.
Create a memorable evening for dads and daughters at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at Cherry Creek Golf Club at 52000 Cherry Creek Dr. Doors open at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dad's enjoy a plated meal of garden salad, chicken piccata, chef's choice vegetable and potato. Daughters enjoy plated chicken tenders, fries and a fruit cup. Ice cream sundae desserts end the meal. After dinner, a DJ provides music for dancing with keepsake photos for a fee. The evening concludes at 8:30 p.m. Seating is open, so parties of four or more should arrive at 5:45 p.m. to ensure seats together. Daughters receive a flower bouquet and a small gift courtesy of Shelby Township Parks, Recreation and Maintenance.
