The water main that was damaged near 24 Mile and Schoenherr roads Nov. 16 has been repaired. There is NO boil water advisory. The break impacted a small number of homes and staff from the Shelby Township Department of Public Works contacted all affected properties.
Teens who are looking to be more involved with the library are encouraged to join the library’s Teen Advisory Board. The Teen Advisory Board meets once a month to help the librarian develop events that teens want to see in the library, and suggest book and movie titles to purchase. Teens involved with the library’s Teen Advisory Board are actively engaged in shaping the library into a community space for teens. Teens who are interested in being part of the library’s Teen Advisory Board are encouraged to fill out an application, and return it. After reviewing the application, the librarian will contact applicants and invite them to join the Teen Advisory Board.
