Shelby Township Senior Center

Closed because of COVID-19 emergency
PRM-SC-housead As we work together to combat the spread of COVID-19, please maintain social distancing in our parks. To help facilitate this, we’ve closed some amenities such as playgrounds and active recreation sites such as basketball and volleyball courts. As part of her extension of the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order April 24, Governor Gretchen Whitmer removed restrictions on golf courses and motorized boating areas.

With this, Shelby Township has reopened the disc golf course at River Bends Park, and we ask users to practice social distancing and restrict gathering in groups during use. For the safety of our residents and per the governor’s order, the Shelby Township Activities Center and Senior Center, Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center and Chief Gene Shepherd Splash Pad remain closed.

For senior center activities and virtual workouts visit us on Facebook at facebook.com/shelbytwpseniors.
