Township holds hearing for DDA boundaries

The Shelby Township Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing at 7 p.m. March 19 to receive comment on the adoption of an ordinance amending the boundaries of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The amended boundaries of the district generally run along the frontage of Van Dyke Ave.  from just south of 21 Mile Road, north, to 26 Mile Road.

Those unable to attend the hearing, but wishing to comment, may do so in writing. Comments should be forwarded to the Shelby Township Clerk at the Shelby Municipal Building, 52700 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township, Michigan, 48316-3572. A copy of the draft DDA Ordinance may be examined at the Planning and Zoning Department in the Municipal Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
