The water main that was damaged near 24 Mile and Schoenherr roads Nov. 16 has been repaired. There is NO boil water advisory. The break impacted a small number of homes and staff from the Shelby Township Department of Public Works contacted all affected properties.
While enjoying coffee and cookies, we are excited to spend time with some wonderful speakers who will share their research and life experiences with us. In September and October, acclaimed author and historian Marty Gitlin will share two different programs. In October, we’ll keep with the music theme of the month and enjoy performances by some of the all-time great artists, from Elvis to Chuck Berry to Ray Charles and Bo Diddley, in “The Birth of Rock and Roll: The Songs that Defined an Era” presentation.
