Human Resources
The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, selection, and administration of the Township's workforce. Selection of personnel is governed by both the Civil Service Ordinance adopted by Township voters for general service employees and State Act 78 for Police and Fire classifications. This results in the department working in conjunction with two three-member commissions made up of residents of the Township who assist in the selection process. Individuals interested in serving on these Commissions should contact the Township Clerk's Office for details on applying for membership.
