Recognizing the courage and strength of our Shelby Township Veterans.
"To the men and women of Shelby who helped preserve freedom for all ages to come. Let none forget they gave their all and faltered not when came the call."
Who We Are
Our Mission
All of the work we do is dedicated to the brave men and women of Shelby Township, Macomb County, Michigan who courageously served their community and the country. It is our goal to bring awareness to veterans living in our township and to honor them.
This memorial is not about war. It’s about people and paying tribute to the military service members who honorably served for our freedom. We honor the spirit of these men and women and embrace all veterans and their family members in tribute.
We accept all living and passed veterans for our engraved brick program, using it as a way to honor them both in life and after.
“We are honoring all of the Shelby Township heroes who were killed in action, giving their life for our country and freedom.”
— Phil Randazzo, Shelby Township Veterans Event Coordinator

Veterans Memorial Paver Program
The Shelby Township Veterans Memorial Paver Program gives families, veterans, donors and businesses a chance to share ownership of the memorial and support the local military community.
The township offers three paver options. For military families or veterans, the township offers a tan paver available in 4-by-8-inch paver or an 8-by-8-inch square. For private donors or businesses, a red clay 4-by-8-inch paver or an 8-by-8-inch square is available. A gray 16-by-16-inch paver is also available.
Military memorial pavers are placed with honor at the foot of the memorial, while private donor pavers are placed surrounding the memorial. To find a military memorial paver click here.
Pavers cost $100 for a 4-inch-by-8-inch engraved paver, $200 for an 8-by-8-inch engraved paver and $400 for a 16-by-16-inch engraved paver. Once set, pavers become part of the Veterans Memorial.
