Home School Classes: Arthropod Adventure For Ages 4-12

Students will be introduced to the amazing world of arthropods. By exploring live and preserved specimens, participants will learn to differentiate between arachnids, insects, and crustaceans. Participants will also get to go on a bug hunt and design their own arthropods based on the adaptations they learn about!

Our home school curriculum immerses students in nature while teaching topics in ecology and history with 90-minute programs for children ages 4-12. Upon arrival, students will be split into age-appropriate groups so that program content is effective and engaging. An adult is required to attend and supervise their children. A large portion of every class is outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Pre-registration required; walk-ins allowed if space available. $3 resident, $5 nonresident. #NCHOME.01
